The jingle of the bells can already be heard through the mist of all Hallows Eve, and in the blink of an eye you realize that you haven't got a clue how to proceed with the merry holidays that are already here...
I've been exactly where you are! You want to create holiday events but have no idea what to do, how to charge, or where to even begin! The best way to organize your thoughts and know how to proceed with your holiday events and offerings is by asking your clients. Doing a holiday market research properly can secure your finances and close up the year on a successful note. It can also give you light on what your clients want, are willing to pay and further details.
Don't know where to begin? Follow along this easy tutorial to create a successful market research that is easy to answer for clients and beneficial for you.
Step 1: Go to Google Forms and create a blank form. Be sure to title it and in the description indicate that you wish to improve the holiday offerings for your clients.
Step 2: Add demographic questions like in what age group you're in, indicate your gender, and town where you live. I suggest making your research anonymous; that way, clients feel free to express themselves fully. You want to know who your main clients are to better direct your social media presence.
Step 3: Next, add questions about how they heard from you and/or how long they've been a customer. It's important to know which social media, if applicable, is your strongest and if word of mouth is a factor.
Step 4: It's optional to include a question about why they love your business. This question could be beneficial because you'll know your strengths so you can continue to play on those.
Step 5: Research about holiday offerings! Ask your clients what type of events they'd like to see, characters they prefer, even pricing they'd be willing to pay.
Step 6: Customize your form with your company colors and logo. Branding is very important and send it out as part of a newsletter. You can even post it on your social media platforms and offer clients something in return to filling out the form like a free video (not personalized) or an activity PDF download for their kids.
There is no time to do this like this week so I highly encourage you to do this holiday research in the next couple of days and, if you have any questions, leave them on the comments section and I will gladly help out. Happy researching!
